U.S. to Ban Galaxy Note 7 on All Flights…

The United States is about to issue a complete ban on Samsung’s exploding Galaxy Note 7 on all planes, according to a report from Bloomberg. For weeks, planes have been issuing warnings that any Note 7s present on a flight need to be turned off. Now it seems like that won’t even be enough.

According to Bloomberg:

Flight restrictions were extended to each of the 1.9 million Note 7s sold in the U.S. and the devices now can’t be carried aboard aircraft even if they’ve been shut off, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration and the Federal Aviation Administration will announce Friday.

This is just the latest development in a continuing series of failure for the Korean company, starting with exploding phones, then exploding replacement phones, and ultimately a total, final recall and refund. The whole ordeal is expected to cost the company over $5 billion, and infinite embarrassment.
