The Land of Five Waters: Punjab, Pakistan

On this journey in coming week we will be sighting trough the beautiful Punjab, Pakistan from hills of Murree to the desserts of Cholistan.

Panj actually means (Five) 5 in Punjabi language and Ab stands for water  as five river flow through this part of the land, combining these two words give name to this region which is filled with beauty not only its sights but the hospitable people who are always and fun to be with…

Punjab is one the largest provinces of Pakistan, most widely spoken languages are Punjabi (though the flavors of the language change every 50 kilometers but is widely understood because of the common words and sayings), Urdu and English (mostly people of Punjab has a very typical accent but still in the hour of need one can manage to understand).
